Charlotte's Parade by Doug PierceThis year’s Porsche Parade was headquartered in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, a much different atmosphere in comparison to the San Diego resort of last year, but just as accommodating. The weather cooperated with cooler than normal temperatures and low humidity, very unusual for late June/early July according to the locals. Early Saturday morning the 13 PCA Zone Representatives gathered for meetings and review of presentations for the 2009 PCA Escape. 3 very high quality, attractive presentations were received and resulted in a difficult selection process. The Escape proposal accepted was that for an Escape to the Birthplace of Aviation, Dayton, Ohio, October 1-4, 2009, to be hosted by the Ohio Valley Region.
